Position Details: Supply Chain Business Analyst - Santa Clara, CA

Description:

We are hiring an Inventory/Supply Chain Analyst/Supply Chain Functional consultant with ERP background, a subject matter expert and information technology analyst responsible for analyzing, designing and delivering solutions that support pharmacy inventory  and supply chain management systems.  This position requires business expertise in inventory, supply chain, product attributes, costing methods, accounting practices, and interfaces.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in working collaboratively in and with highly matrixed, cross-functional teams on a national basis.  Knowledge of batch and real-time interfaces of industry standards and the various customized Client Membership interfaces is highly desired.  Ability to assess downstream system impacts is required.  

Expertise in pharmacy inventory and supply chain is desired or required, formulary/ content management is preferred.  

Partnering with IT, Business, and vendor stakeholders to identify requirements and potential solutions for new development as well as troubleshooting issues in a production environment is required. Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must have the ability to develop and build relationship with business and IT.

Duration: 12 months

Candidate Type: W2 or Corp-to-Corp

Required Skills:

Candidate must have 6+ years of experience in Inventory and procurement modules.

  • Candidate must have experience as Functional consultant in Supply Chain Management
  • Strong experience in Inventory, procurement and order management modules
  • Must have excellent skills in requirement gathering, analysis, solution designing and gap analysis.
  • Candidate must have Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Must have Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Working knowledge of integration with other modules is required
  • Experience in healthcare industry is preferred but experience in retail and manufacturing will work.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Process analysis and design, documentation and data collation/analysis. 
  • Project management experience is a Plus (project plan, status reporting and communications, risk/issue management etc.).
  • Written and verbal communication (7-8 in a scale of 10)
  • Creative and Innovative; ability to focus; attention to functional and technical details; process oriented
  • Experience – Waterfall and Agile (3-4 years on both)
  • Tools – JIRA, Rally, Sharepoint, Quality Center, MS Visio, Powerpoint  etc.
  • Client experience (mySDLC)  -- Preferred
  • ePIMS experience  -- Preferred
